The pretty village of Rushlake Green is situated within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Osborne House retirement housing is sited within the heart of the community, overlooking the Green within the attractive Village Conservation Area.
Rushlake Green Village Shop, stocking everyday essentials, provides a newsagent and Post Office and is situated immediately opposite Osborne House. The Horse and Groom pub also fronts the Green and the Dunn Village Hall, hosting numerous local events, is within a few minutes walk.
In the summer months, the Green serves as a venue for open air plays staged by the Rushlake Green Village Players, the Big Lunch and local Fair, the Horticultural Show and the Black Shed amongst other events.
A local community bus service stops outside Osborne House.
